Good Faith Estimate
At BAP, we believe you deserve to understand the cost of your counseling services before beginning care. We are committed to providing clear information about fees so you can make informed decisions about your mental health journey.
What Is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who do not have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance to pay for services have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs of scheduled or requested healthcare services.
Your Good Faith Estimate will outline the expected charges for your counseling services based on the information available at the time it is prepared. Actual costs may vary if your services or treatment needs change.

As a self-pay client, you have the right to:
• Request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during the applicable process.
• Receive an estimate of the expected costs of your counseling services.
• Keep a copy of your estimate for your records.
• Dispute a bill if it is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate from a provider or facility, subject to applicable federal requirements.
